I thought of taking the dormer door down to repair the window and in its absence, this mechanized owl would keep the squirrels from turning my attic into a timeshare. Alas, the dormer hinge screws didn't look to be in good shape, presumably after 70ish years, so decided to replace the window pane in-place. The owl might be going back to the pet store... err... hardware store. (Mar. 10, 2017 5:57pm)
